This superb Cornish holiday apartment is in a stunning location, perched high on the rocks next to Porthminster beach, and with wide uninterrupted views from St Ives harbour to Godrevy lighthouse. A fabulous spot for watching the changing scenery, whatever the weather. In winter, snuggle inside on the comfy window seat to watch the waves crashing over the rocks. On a fine day, sit out on the balcony and wonder at the fantastic far-reaching views.
The approach is along a balcony and through double patio doors into a light and airy open plan room. The décor is simple, white painted walls and pine floorboards. There are works by local artists and a large window seat is recessed into the granite; from here you can spot cormorants and seals.
The dining area is positioned to take full advantage of the views through the patio doors. From here a spiral staircase winds down to the kitchen, which has a porthole with seaviews and painted kitchen units. There is also a bathroom with small bath and shower over, again having a porthole with seaviews.
The bedroom is situated just off the living area up 3 steps. It is divided by a half wall, so that you can sit in bed and watch the sea. The bed is a pocket sprung double mattress.
Location - St Ives Cornwall
This gem among holiday apartments occupies 2 floors and has its own entrance on the seaward side of the Warren. It is situated between the pale golden sands of Porthminster beach and St Ives harbour in Cornwall. The train station and Car Park are a 3 minute walk.
Facilities
All rentals include quality bedlinen and towels, utilities and a welcome tray.
The holiday apartment is fully double glazed and has a LCD flatscreen TV with freeview, DVD player and a selection of DVDs and books. The main living area has a large window seat and a fully sprung sofa bed, suitable for everyday use. The kitchen has a full sized cooker with fan oven, microwave, and a Bosch fridge with small freezer compartment.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony, not inside the Apartment.
Access
Please note there are granite steps and a metal walkway across the seaward
side of the building. Access is not suitable for the infirm, young
children or dogs. Due to an open metal spiral staircase and walkway
only suitable for non-crawling babies or children aged 8+.
(Please note that in our other properties we welcome children of all ages, and 1 Lower Saltings is especially suitable for people with low mobility. 1 Ropewalk and Thornleigh are also available for well-behaved dogs and their owners).
Tariff
From £450 to £1050 per week, changeover is Friday.
